WHAT IS SURVIVAL SWIMMING?
Self-Rescue
If your child falls in water, they will know how to Self-Rescue by turning, lifting their chin and coming to the water's surface to float, get air & rest.
Turn to Swim
If help doesn't arrive, they can navigate their surroundings to find an exit. They will be able to turn over and swim toward it.
Float & Rest
If they can't reach an exit in one breath, they can turn back into a float to get air and rest. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Swim to Safety
Once rested, they can turn over and swim again toward an exit. They can continue this Swim-Float-Swim sequence until they reach safety.
